Lamb chops with grilled tomatoes

Lamb chops with grilled tomatoes
2 chilli peppers (fresh/from a jar)
1 onion
½ - 1 bunch of mint or parsley
2 limes
6 tbsp. oil (e.g. olive oil)
500 g cherry tomatoes
8 lamb chops (from the ribs/forequarter area, approx. 75 g each)
Wash, clean, de-seed and chop the chilli peppers. Then peel the onions and dice finely. Wash the herbs, pluck the leaves and chop finely. Halve the lime, squeeze and season the juice. Then add 5 tbsp. oil, beating vigorously. Mix the prepared ingredients with the marinade. Then wash the tomatoes, pat dry and make a crosswise slit in the tops. Wash the chops, pat dry, brush with 1 tbsp. oil and season. Grill the lamb chops on the hot barbecue grill for approx. 4 minutes on each side. Grill the tomatoes with them for 2-3 minutes and turn everything a few times. Arrange on plates and drizzle with the marinade. Serve with fresh pita bread.
