The epitome of British food: fried battered fish and crispy chips

1 egg
2 tbsp. flour
2 cod fillets
Peanut oil
Frozen chips
Beat the egg in a bowl with a pinch of salt. Bread the cod fillets in three stages: 1. Flour, 2. Egg and salt mixture and 3. Breadcrumbs Drizzle the breaded fillet with a little peanut oil, place in the air fryer basket and cook at 180 °C for 20 minutes. Subsequently cook the chips using the automatic programme.
