Fried pineapple with honey and coconut
Ingredients
1 small pineapple
1 tbsp. honey
1 tbsp. lime juice
25 g coconut
Ice cream or (mango) sorbet
Preparation
Start by pre-heating the air fryer to 200 °C and lining the bottom with baking paper, ensuring that a space of 1 cm is left around the edges. Then remove the pineapple’s outer skin and inner core, before chopping into long strips.
Mix the honey and lime juice in a bowl and coat the pineapple strips with the mixture. Then place the pineapple pieces in the fryer basket and cook for 12 minutes.
Finally, arrange the pineapple strips on a plate with some ice cream or a (mango) sorbet and serve.
