IFA 2019: SEVERIN presents a relaunch of its product range

Sundern, 6 September 2019 – With this year's appearance at the IFA, SEVERIN presents the next stage in its brand reorientation. Innovative products, a completely new eBBQ World and a distinctive product design with a high recognition value show what the SEVERIN brand stands for.
At IFA 2019, SEVERIN will be presenting a range consisting of more than 30% new products. This impressive number shows what SEVERIN has achieved in the short time since repositioning and what the objective is: "The relaunch of our product range is very successful. We have streamlined the product range and are concentrating specifically on focus product groups such as microwaves, coffee and breakfast, refrigerators, fun food and eBBQs. In visual branding we are focusing on the fact that recognition through an unmistakable product design is an absolute given in all product categories. The time of me-too products is over", says SEVERIN Managing Director Christian Strebl.

All-rounders create added value

Many of the products presented by SEVERIN impress with their multifunctionality. As all-round talents they are on trend, appeal to new target groups and offer added value for the trade. An example is the new Induction Milk Frother Spuma 700 Plus, which, among other things, is equipped with special programmes for soya, cashew and lactose-free milk. "Milk replacement is not only the trend for vegans and allergy sufferers – we are once again significantly improving the milk frother. In addition, Spuma can also be used to prepare protein shakes, hot chocolate and baby food at the touch of a button”, explains Sascha Steinberg, Director of Marketing & Product Management. This keen sense of trends coupled with creative out-of-the-box thinking is what makes the SEVERIN brand so special. "We therefore offer our trading partners added value in marketing and open up new business areas, especially for trade professionals," says Christian Strebl confidently.

eBBQ World sets new standards

SEVERIN offers new marketing opportunities in particular in the field of electric barbecues – a product category in which the traditional brand has long been one of the market leaders. SEVERIN uses this skill and is presenting a completely new eBBQ range at the IFA 2019, which is clearly structured in different lines and offers the right device for every application and requirement. "Our goal is to occupy the eBBQ area in the long term. With the new structure and the Quality, Performance and Professional lines, we provide our trading partners with new, qualified products that are precisely tailored to the different needs of the target groups. With a Good-Better-Best range structure, new premium target groups can also be specifically approached by authorised and qualified consultants”, stresses Christian Strebl.

The flagship among electric barbecues: SEVO

For this demanding target group, SEVERIN has for the first time a true eBBQ premium model in its programme: the SEVO. With 3,000 watts and a peak temperature of 500 degrees directly on the food to be grilled, OLED display, integrated grill thermometer and elegant design in black and silver, it puts an end to all common prejudices against electric barbecues. "We are especially proud to present this flagship at the IFA for the first time. Our visitors experience the new spectrum of our eBBQ World in a separate presentation area, which makes you want to start the barbecue season! ", says Sascha Steinberg.

At the IFA 2019, SEVERIN presents itself with a completely new exhibition stand concept, which offers the perfect setting to optimally stage the variety of product innovations and bring them to life. Christian Strebl is looking forward to Berlin: "The IFA is the ideal place to show our trading partners how successfully and consistently we are implementing the relaunch of the brand and the product range.
