Cinnamon cones

Cinnamon cones
50 g margarine or butter
75 g sugar
1 egg
175 g flour
250 ml lukewarm water
½ a tsp. cinnamon
Using a hand mixer, beat the margarine or butter and some of the sugar until light and fluffy, then add the egg. Then alternately stir in the sieved flour and the lukewarm water, in which the remaining sugar has been dissolved, before adding the cinnamon. Beat the batter well and leave to rest for approx. 30 minutes. Place a dollop of batter in the wafer/cone maker and roll the wafers into cones or small rolls when baked.
Fill with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
