What types of cheese are best suitable for raclette?
For the raclette grill, soft cheese such as raclette cheese, Tilsit or Appenzell is best suitable, as these cheeses tend to melt quickly, yet still retain a smooth consistency.
What do I have to keep in mind when using the raclette grill?
Deep-frozen food should be completely defrosted prior to grilling. When processing larger food quantities, we recommend removing any accumulated fat from the raclette grill from time to time.
How is the raclette cheese prepared?
Before the raclette grilling starts, around 200-300 g of cheese per person should be cut into 3-5 mm slices.
