Tomato paprika cream

Ingredients:

  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 400 g quark (a typical German ricotta-type cream cheese: try 9 parts ricotta and 1 part sour cream)
  • 100 ml kefir
  • 1/2 tsp paprika powder
  • 1/2 bunch basil
  • iodine salt
  • freshly ground pepper
  • 1 pinch of sugar

How to make Tomato paprika cream

Sear the tomatoes briefly in hot water, skin them, remove the seeds and cut them into cubes. Clean the bell pepper, remove the seeds, wash it and also cut it into cubes. Put the cream quark/ricotta with the kefir into a bowl and stir into a smooth blend. Add the tomatoes and bell peppers and stir in. Sprinkle with paprika powder and stir in as well. Wash the basil, dry it, pluck off the leaves and chop finely. Season the cr笥 with iodine salt, freshly ground pepper and a little sugar.
