Roasted almonds from the microwave
Ingredients:
- 200 g unpeeled almonds
- 4 tbsp sugar (do not use white sugar as it gets too hot!!!)
- 2.5 tbsp water (do not exceed this amount to prevent the almonds from getting too sticky)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
How to make Roasted almonds from the microwave
Melt the sugar, cinnamon and water in a microwave dish (must be suitable for cooking, not just for heating) for 1 minute at 600 W. Add the almonds, stir and put for another 2 minutes in the microwave. Remove the dish, stir thoroughly and put for another 2 minutes in the microwave. Remove the dish, stir thoroughly, spread the almonds to allow them to cool down on a pan liner or baking paper.
