Toast Hawaii
Ingredients:
- 1/4 salad cucumber
- 1 tin of pineapple rings (around 230 ml)
- 8 slices of toast bread
- 2-3 tbsp mayonnaise
- curry
- 4 slices cooked ham
- 4 slices of Gouda cheese
- around 2 tbsp soft butter
- some salad leaves, optional
- Cherry tomatoes
- parsley
How to make Toast Hawaii
Wash and shred or thinly slice the cucumber. Let the pineapple rings drip off, spread some mayonnaise in the toast slices. Sprinkle with curry powder. Garnish 4 of the toast slices with cucumber and 1 slice of ham, pineapple and cheese each. Put the remaining toast slices on top. Pre-heat the sandwich toaster. Grease the sandwiches slightly with butter from the outside. Cook for around 2 minutes, the cut diagonally in halves. Arrange on a plate with salad, cherry tomatoes, the remaining pineapple slices and parsley.
