Fried Vegetables with prawns
Ingredients:
- 12-18 raw prawns (without head in their shells )
- 1 large cauliflower
- 2 red bell peppers
- 150 - 200 g soy bean sprouts
- 2 tbsp butter/margarine
- 200 g peas (frozen)
- 10 - 15 tbsp Asia sauce ‘sweet and sour’ (bottle)
- 2-3 tbsp soy sauce
- cayenne pepper
How to make Fried Vegetables with prawns
Wash the prawns and remove the shell. Cut lightly along the thick part of the back into the meat and remove the black vein. Clean the cauliflower and bell pepper. Separate the cauliflower into florets and cut the bell pepper into pieces. Wash the bean sprouts and let them drip off. Heat the oil in the party pan. Cook the prawns in the pan for around 2 minutes while repeatedly turning them. Add the bean sprouts and let them cook briefly. Take out all ingredients from the pan. Sear the cauliflower florets briefly on high heat, then add 100 ml of water. Let it stew for about 8 minutes with the lid on the pan at 90 °C. Later, add the bell pepper (which needs around 5 minutes, and the peas (around 3 minutes). Add the prawns, soy bean sprouts and the Asia sauce to the vegetables and heat up again. Season to taste with soy sauce and cayenne pepper. Serve with saffron rice.
