Cheese sandwich à la Cassel
Ingredients:
- 2 pickled cucumbers ( around 120 g)
- 8 slices of toast bread
- 2-3 tbsp rémoulade sauce
- 4 slices (100 g) of Edam cheese
- 4 slices (100 g) smoked cold meat slices
- 2 tbsp ready-made roast onions
- 2 tbsp soft butter
- tomatoes, champignons and herbs to garnish
How to make Cheese sandwich à la Cassel
Slice the cucumbers. Spread the rémoulade sauce on the toast, then put on 4 slices of cheese, smoked meat and cucumber. Sprinkle some chopped onion on top. Cover with the remaining toast slices. Pre-heat the sandwich toaster. Grease the sandwiches slightly with butter from the outside. Cook for around 2 minutes until golden-brown. Cut diagonally in halves. Arrange on the plate, garnish to taste.
