Apple rings in creamy dough

Ingredients:

  • 30 g margarine
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 P. vanilla sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 125 g flour
  • 1/8 l cream
  • 25 grated nuts
  • 2 tbsp rum
  • 3 medium-size apples
  • flour for turning

How to make Apple rings in creamy dough

Briskly stir the margarine, sugar, vanilla sugar and egg yolk until the mixture is foamy, then add flour and cream in turns before adding the nuts and the rum. Finally fold in the egg-white after it has been beaten to a very firm consistency. Punch out the apple cores, peel the apples and cut them into thick slices, turn them in the flour and immerse them into the dough. They must be completely covered. You can fry 2-3 rings at the same time in 180°C oil until done. Allow the oil to drip off, sprinkle with icing sugar and serve hot or cold.
