Microwave-baked potato

Ingredients:

  • 1 large potato
  • oil
  • salt and pepper

How to make Microwave-baked potato

Clean the potato thoroughly under tap water with a hand brush puncture it repeatedly from all sides with a fork. Put a piece of kitchen paper towel inside the ,microwave on the turntable and place the potato on top. Cook at 800 W for 4 minutes per each 100 g (ie 8 minutes for 200 g). Turn over after half of the cooking time has elapsed (it is useful to have a pair of tongs or a suitable implement at hand). Use a fork to check whether the potato is cooked: when you prick the potato, there must be very little resistance. Meanwhile, prepare a number of pieces of aluminium foil (matching the number of potatoes), brush the inside lightly with oil and sprinkle some salt and pepper on the inside. Wrap each potato into the foil and leave it sitting for several minutes in the switched-off microwave oven.
